國內驚傳新北市有女子2周前赴南韓旅遊，期間去過爆發MERS的首爾三星醫院，返台後，女子及其女兒昨出現發燒、咳嗽、呼吸急促等症狀，母女倆被送至台北市立聯合醫院和平院區隔離，台北市衛生局今（12）天表示，經與疾管署緊急會商討論後，認為母女倆的臨床症狀不符合通報條件，但為安全起見，仍送檢驗中。

台北市衛生局表示，昨晚11點是由中央的疾病管制署署長郭旭崧親自主持電話會議緊急會商，經討論後，認為母女倆的臨床症狀不符合MERS通報條件，予以排除MERS。

不過，台北市衛生局疾管處副處長黃繼慶強調，由於南韓疫情緊急，女子也自述曾去過疫區醫院，台北市衛生局要求醫師看診「從嚴」看待疑似病例，因此，為求安全起見，目前仍採檢送驗中，結果預計今天出爐，目前母女倆狀況穩定，仍在負壓隔離病房觀察。

疾管署副署長周志浩今早回應媒體詢問則強調，國內如發現有MERS確定病例，會在最短時間召開記者會向國人宣布，至於疑似病例傳聞，疾管署無法一一回覆。
